Welcome to our vibrant community of English-speaking families in Kassel, Germany! Our group is dedicated to fostering a close-knit environment where families can connect, share experiences, and enrich each other’s lives through language and culture.
Our Mission
We believe in the power of community and the value of sharing languages and cultures. Our mission is twofold:
- Fostering Connections: We create a supportive network for families to engage with one another. Through regular meetups, social events, and activities, we provide a platform for parents and children alike to build friendships, exchange parenting tips, and enjoy a sense of belonging while speaking their home languages.
- Promoting Tolerance: As multilingual, multicultural families, we are passionate not only about sharing our language skills, but also promoting intercultural tolerance and awareness. As our club grows, we will actively engage with the broader Kassel community through outreach events for families. These initiatives will aim to bridge cultural divides, foster dialogue, and create shared experiences that celebrate diversity.

What We Offer
Member Gatherings
Member families meet regularly for child-focused activities that celebrate English language and culture — from seasonal crafts to outdoor adventures. These gatherings are designed for families who already use English at home: children get natural, playful practice with peers while the adults exchange parenting and intercultural navigation tips.
Bilingual Family Events
Public events such as Story Hour and our Cultural Events series bring playful bilingual-language experiences to Kassel’s children and families. Open to everyone, these programs invite families curious about English and different cultures to learn, create, and celebrate together in a welcoming, family-friendly setting.
Intercultural Understanding
We promote openness and mutual respect by sharing the lived experiences of bilingual families. Through events, conversations, and community-building, we nurture empathy and cultural literacy in children — helping shape thoughtful, inclusive leaders of the next generation.
